Canada Goose was born in the North.
Since 1957, our Canadian heritage means uncompromised craftmanship and products that are designed to endure.
Our purpose is to embolden explorers and preserve the planet they roam.
It’s a long-term mindset that has always shaped how Canada Goose creates, operates and evolves—and serves as the foundation of our approach to sustainability.
We believe we can make the most meaningful difference across six key areas of impact.
These sustainability pillars reflect the ground we’ve covered and learning we’ve built along the way.
Year over year we have:
- Strengthened how we understand our impact
- Built systems and partnerships to act responsibly
- Focused our efforts to make a meaningful difference
To explore tomorrow, we must protect today.

Our roots in the North ground our understanding of what’s at stake as the climate changes.
For generations, Canada Goose has outfitted and empowered people to explore some of the planet’s most extreme environments.
We know it’s our responsibility to protect and preserve the places that have always inspired us for future generations to come.
We’re proud to share that our climate progress this year includes:
- A 50% reduction in our greenhouse gas emissions from direct operations
- Investing $7+ million over three years to electrify our Canadian manufacturing facilities
- Completing life-cycle assessments across all products manufactured in FY26 to gain greater visibility into their impact.
Canada Goose’s legacy is built on exceptional craftsmanship.
This expertise lives on through our in-house archive.
Within its walls, seven decades of timeless styles and construction act as proven points of reference.
In studying previous designs, we refine functional details, fit, and construction to create styles that will resonate today and tomorrow.
How do Canada Goose products last beyond a single lifetime?
- Every product is thoughtfully designed.
- Our commitment to craftsmanship is unwavering.
- We prioritize high-quality materials.
- Our products are performance tested.
- We champion repair, reuse, and resale programs.
Traceability gives us visibility. Visibility allows us to act with accountability.
When we understand the origins of our materials and how our products are made, we can act with intention.
Traceability and transparency in our supply chain means we can:
- Better commit to responsible sourcing.
- Support efforts to minimize environmental impacts associated with material production.
- Bring care and accountability to the people and environments connected to our work.
Across materials and manufacturing milestones at Canada Goose, we’re proud to share that:
- 91% of the materials sourced for Canadian manufacturing are certified organic or recycled.
- 100% of the down we use in our Canadian manufacturing is Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified.
- 100% of our wool comes from suppliers who signed a Non-Mulesed Wool Self-Declaration.
- Environmental and social audits were completed across 100% of our Canada Goose manufacturing facilities to help ensure human rights and environmental expectations are being upheld.
Nature provides the raw materials that make Canada Goose products possible.
We recognize our responsibility to safeguard these natural resources in our efforts to preserve the planet.
Stewardship of nature by the numbers:
- 96% of the leather we purchase for offshore products is certified to Leather Working Group.
- 89% of domestic materials were bluesign® approved and 98% were OEKO‑TEX® approved, helping safeguard the environments connected to our supply chain.
- Since 2007, Canada Goose has contributed $8 million to Polar Bears International supporting research, conservation, and community‑based efforts focused on protecting polar bears and their habitat.
- 6 awards were received in FY26 for our biodiversity conservation partnership with Shan Shui Conservation Centre in the Yangtze River Source Region.
At Canada Goose, we believe true warmth goes beyond protection from the elements to how we show up for one another, wherever we are.
Connection comes through initiatives that create shared experiences and build cultural understanding.
Community is honouring the relationships, cultures, and stories that shape our heritage and inspire us.
Some of the ways we have nurtured these commitments over the years include:
- Featuring over 700 artworks from Indigenous, Inuit, Canadian and international artists in Canada Goose stores globally.
- Supporting the traditional skills and modern creativity of makers in remote communities by donating millions of metres of fabric and materials through our Resource Centres Program.
Our people are at the heart of our success.
Belonging is more than just an ideal, it’s the key to unlocking our collective potential, taking us further together. It’s why Canada Goose was recognized by TIME as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. It shows up in our management, where 58% of the roles are held by women. It’s why we recognize the importance of physical and mental health through our Global Wellbeing Series. At Canada Goose, we focus on building an environment where individuals feel supported and valued, enabling everyone to bring their best work forward in service of our shared purpose.
