In the heart of the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Karijini National Park holds 2.5 billions years worth of history.

Canada Goose invited a group of explorers to the ancient, iron-rich red rock oasis for a guided
four-day expedition. Here, the rocks act as a physical hard drive, storing information from billions
of years ago and using it to dictate how the landscape behaves today.

Days were spent gorge walking and dipping into narrow subterranean sanctuaries. Nights were passed listening to stories from Banyjima,
Kurrama and Innawonga peoples under the lights of the full moon and far-off constellations in an otherwise pitch black Australian sky.

At the closing of the expedition, the group left with a deep understanding of the land—and the pull between geological strata and celestial
phenomena—that was unfamiliar to them just a few days earlier.
